I’m ruined.  Seriously.  I’m the girl who loves romantic comedies because it gives me hope that the fairytale could actually happen.  It doesn’t help that my high school boyfriend was basically a character straight out of Love Actually.  A girl gets used to all the warm fuzzy treatment and is set to believe that is “normal.”  As an experienced 25 year old, I can tell you, No.  That is not normal.  College brought fraternity boys.  Pretty to look at, fun to hang out with, but not the romantic comedy, leave flowers on your doorstep; whisk you off your feet kind of guy.  In the real world, it’s almost worse.  You get stuck in a routine.  You surround yourself with the same people day in and day out.  You’d be lucky to meet a “winner” at a bar by this age.  The only guys you meet in bars are the ones that only want to know you that night, after that they will pretend they never met you, or better yet, lead you to believe you are their most prized possession for a month, and THEN they will pretend they never met you.  This brings me to now, a new challenge.  Online dating, I’ve heard the good, the bad, and the ugly.  This experience will likely be pretty entertaining and slightly creepy, so I’d like to share my trials with you.  Let’s have some fun, shall we?
